A host of golden daffodils

Ride from Beddington Park - 18 March 2017

Anna and Lesley, Morden Hall Park
The ride start was delayed because the 4 cyclists coming from Croydon used a new route into the park thus missing the departure of Colin's group who decided to meet us at St Mary's church which we managed to bypass!  However 8 of us eventually met up and left Beddington Park to cycle slowly as a cloud along the River Wandle to Morden Hall Park.  Our fairly regular group was joined by Lesley with 6 months experience of cycling and a new bike.

Daffodils, an egret and a dog the size of a black bear were memorable sights along the route and we enjoyed tea and cake in the NT cafe.  Our return route was through the St Helier estate where several members left to cycle home and just three of us returned to Beddington Park.
