14 intrepid riders turned up at Kingston under cloudy skies , including one new grandmother, Stephanie, and minus Godfrey who went to Nonsuch Park by mistake.
We went via Cobblers Way through Bushey Park where the sun come out and via Hanwell, Ashford, Staines and Egham to the BishopsGate entrance to the Great Park. This took just over 2 hours at a steady pace as I don't usually do coffee stops on these rides, and there were no mishaps despite the generally poor state of the roads.
In the Park we paused at the foot of Snowshill where a large group of riders from Dalston appeared in their Rapha gear and obligingly took a photo for us with the castle just visible in the background.
