Day ride to Virginia Water on 15th March
Note that this ride sets out from the Kingston side of Kingston Bridge at 10am, not Nonsuch Park.
I aim to go through Bushey Park and via Staines and Egham to get to Windsor Great Park at the BishopsGate entrance.
After that it will be around the Park to the new visitor centre by the lake for a snack stop. There is outside and inside seating so a picnic is also possible.
Then it will be back via Virginia Water, Addlestone , and Walton to Kingston.
I estimate the ride will be about 40 miles with only one hill outside Egham and the occasional lumpy bit in the Great Park.
Trains are available at various places on the way back if it gets to be too much, but otherwise we should be back at Kingston by 4.30pm.
